 FALL COLORS PROGRESSION 2003!

CLINGMAN'S DOME PARKING LOT OVERLOOK

     Clingman's Dome parking area's elevation is approximately 6,312' above sea level.  Being one of the highest reference points in the Smokies, colors will progress here sooner than lower elevations, and is a good benchmark to predict coming colors!  We will be adding different views showing more trees, unfortunately many of the trees here are dead due apparently to pollution, acid rain, etc.
