October 26th, 2008 |
| Weird year, started out with a bang with lots of early
yellows, but see the photos for yourself, other than some reds in the
Cosby area, our personal opinion is just a so-so year so far at most,
also appears many leaves have went from green to yellow to fallen on the
ground, yet some areas may still get colors, WEIRD year, |
|
October 19th, 2008 |
| May just be us?, but it seems the bright reds / purples
are not prevalent even in the highest altitudes, and some leaves appear
to be going from green to brown to fallen, we will see more in the next
week. |

ABOUT A MILE DOWN FROM THE TN/NC STATE LINE |
| Very light traffic, quite a bit of yellows in the higher
altitudes, in our opinion much more, much earlier than recent years,
there was a cold rain recently, which MAY have had an effect? Gas
as low as $2.99 Click on the NEWS button at the top of the page for daily
area news. |

October 2nd, 2008 |
| Very light traffic, some yellows
staring in highest altitudes, may be a tinge of color in the extremes of
the Dollywood Welcome Center elevation, one thing we have noticed over
the years, sometimes trees right alongside the roads change a bit
faster, dont know if its the carbon dioxide from the car exhausts or
???. Gas appeared abundant we saw it for low as $3.48 unleaded
regular. |
|
September 25th, 2008 |
| Light traffic, no color changes noticeable, gas was
available everywhere we went (some stations only had unleaded regular). |
|
September 19th, 2008
|
| There was very little traffic and no color changes were
evident. |

they not on the other side Jordan, by the way where the sun goeth down,
in the land of the Canaanites, which dwell in the champaign over against
